SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Did you know that 40 percent of food produced is actually thrown away.
That’s why the San Diego Food System Alliance is teaming up with San Diego area Ralphs and “Food 4 less” locations to teach about the significant impacts of wasted food.
Geertje Grootenhuis from the San Diego Food System Alliance and John Votava from Ralphs grocery stores were at KUSI to discuss.
